Gary Mavrokefalos is the owner and operator of the Golden Ox Restaurant. His father moved from Greece when Gary was a child and opened the restaurant. His father passed it on to his son, and now Gary is passing it on to his son, Chris.

  Last time I was here my food was so bland. I ordered biscuits and gravy but ended up with tan hockey pucks covered in a packet of lazily prepped country gravy. The staff is very nice food used to be very good but suddenly the quality went way down

  Clean, friendly and fast service! Loved the fruit dish substitute choice! Breakfast specials are greatly priced and they are delicious! Plus free WiFi, can't beat that!!

  The breakfast is bomb and the prices reasonable and the service was great everyone was very friendly
